I'm going to give a talk about my school holidays. School holidays give you the opportunity to take a break from classes and spend time the way you want     To begin with, I have holidays four times a year: in autumn, in winter, in spring and in summer. It is quite typical for Russian schools because almost all schools in my country have the same curriculum.   To tell the truth, I wish winter holidays were longer as I really enjoy Christmas time and magical atmosphere both at home and outside. If these holidays were longer, I could spend more time with my family celebrating and enjoying myself.     Speaking about activities I like doing on holiday, I cannot but mention reading books.  I'm really into this. I have read a lot of different books so far. My favourite one is ""Three Comrades" by Remarque".   All in all, I reckon that school holidays are not just for fun, it is necessary to have some rest and take a break from studying as well That’s all that I wanted to tell you about school  holidays.

Я собираюсь рассказать о своих школьных каникулах. Школьные каникулы дают нам возможность отдохнуть от занятий и провести время так, как мы хотим   Начнем с того, что у меня каникулы четыре раза в год: осенью, зимой, весной и летом. Это довольно типично для российских школ, потому что почти все школы в моей стране имеют одинаковую учебную программу. По правде говоря, я бы хотел, чтобы зимние каникулы были длиннее, так как я действительно наслаждаюсь рождественским временем и волшебной атмосферой как дома, так и на улице. Если бы эти каникулы были длиннее, я мог бы проводить больше времени со своей семьей, празднуя и наслаждаясь. Говоря о том, чем мне нравится заниматься в отпуске, я не могу не упомянуть чтение книг. Мне это действительно нравится. До сих пор я прочитал много разных книг. Моя любимая - ""Три товарища" Ремарка". В целом, я считаю, что школьные каникулы - это не просто развлечение, необходимо немного отдохнуть и сделать перерыв в учебе.

Remember to say: why people like travelling; what means of transport is the best for travelling, and why; what places in Russia you would like to visit; what your attitude to travelling is.

I’d like to tell about travelling .Millions of people all over the world spend their holidays travelling. It is always interesting to discover new things, different ways of life, to meet different people.    To my mind, people like travelling because it broadens their horizons, and they can make friends abroad. Many people travel to relax from their daily routine. Moreover, it’s fun.     As for me, travelling by plane is the most convenient option, because it’s fast and safe, and very good service is provided. We don’t need to waste time. I’m not afraid of flying.   I would like to visit Moscow as it is the capital of our country. Moreover , nowadays, Moscow is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It houses countless places of interest.   In conclusion I’d like to say that while travelling, we see  and learn a lot of things that we can never see at home so, my attitude to it is very positive     That’s all that I wanted to tell you about travelling

Я хочу рассказать о путешествиях. Миллионы людей по всему миру проводят свой отпуск в путешествиях. Всегда интересно открывать для себя что-то новое, разные способы жизни, встречаться с разными людьми. На мой взгляд, людям нравится путешествовать, потому что это расширяет их кругозор  и они могут завести друзей за границей. Многие люди путешествуют, чтобы отдохнуть от своей повседневной рутины. Более того, это весело. Что касается меня, путешествие самолетом - самый удобный вариант, потому что это быстро и безопасно, а также предоставляется очень хороший сервис. Нам не нужно терять время. Я не боюсь летать. Я хотел бы посетить Москву, поскольку это столица нашей страны. Более того, сегодня Москва - один из самых красивых городов в мире. Здесь находится бесчисленное множество достопримечательностей. В заключение я хотел бы сказать, что во время путешествий мы видим и узнаем много такого, чего никогда не увидим дома, поэтому мое отношение позитивное

Remember to say: whether reading is popular with teenagers, and why, or why not; what kind of books you like reading; why many people prefer e-books to paper books; what your attitude to reading is.

I would like to tell you a few words about books and reading. Reading has always been an essential part of our life. To my mind, reading is not so popular nowadays as it was before. There are several reasons for this. First, teenagers now have far more ways to entertain themselves. We have an opportunity to play computer games, listen to countless number of songs and watch any films we like on the Internet. As for me, I like reading very much. My favourite kind of books is adventure stories. I like adventure stories because they make my monotonous life more exciting, give me an opportunity to travel around the world.   Most people nowadays prefer e-books to paper ones, as paper books cost more and occupy a lot of place in your home. In addition, some paper books are too heavy to be taken with you. As for the e-book, you can take it with you wherever you go.   So, in conclusion, despite the fact that reading is not so popular nowadays, it is still one of my favourite pastimes. That’s all that I wanted to tell you about reading

Я хотел бы сказать вам несколько слов о книгах и чтении. Чтение всегда было неотъемлемой частью нашей жизни.   На мой взгляд, чтение сейчас не так популярно, как было раньше. Для этого есть несколько причин. Во-первых, у подростков теперь гораздо больше способов развлечь себя. У нас есть возможность играть в компьютерные игры, слушать бесчисленное количество песен и смотреть любые фильмы, которые нам нравятся в Интернете.     Что касается меня, то я очень люблю читать. Мой любимый вид книг - приключенческие рассказы. Мне нравятся приключенческие истории, потому что они делают мою монотонную жизнь более захватывающей, дают мне возможность путешествовать по всему миру.     Большинство людей в настоящее время предпочитают электронные книги бумажным, так как бумажные книги стоят дороже и занимают много места в вашем доме. Кроме того, некоторые бумажные книги слишком тяжелые, чтобы брать их с собой. Что касается электронной книги, вы можете взять ее с собой, куда бы вы ни отправились.     Итак, в заключение, несмотря на то, что чтение в наши дни не так популярно, оно по-прежнему остается одним из моих любимых занятий.
